You will have to keep wondering. The answer to such a question is totally unknowable.

No cure Sarge. Just keep buying them. They're money in the bank. I'm looking forward to seeing you at the Southern. I'm sorry that I had to cut our last conversation short. Give me a call.

Best Regards, George

George, I missed seeing your posts you while you were in Japan. I'm sorry to hear of the cancer. As I'm sure you know many miracles are possible with modern medicine. I wish you the best. I do hope you're able to make the Southern. Last time I saw you at the Southern you sent that gent by with that screamer AE 32 incher. Interesting story on that Fox but I'd rather tell you in person. Sounds like you've found some nice two barrel sets and I'm happy for you. Frank

I'm all most done with the cancer, finished radiation last month and they operate to remove the tumor next week. The cancer was localized to to right thigh and it was caught before it could spread, so everything is going to be ok? No Foxes in Japan but the guns are really cheap there, I bought a Perrazi for $230 dollars and a Browning Diana Grade over/under for $1100, an F Grade Remington 1100 for $200, and a a few Miroku doubles, I have 22 guns in Japan. I bought a strange little doubler rifle, 9 Mamet over 6mm et, one solid barrel with two rifle in it, oval shaped, it is called a Buffalo Caribine, a think it is French gun, really nice engraving. That last A grade I bought with two barrels is really strange, both barrels 28 and 32 are choked full, #20207, I wonder why both barrels are choked that way? My plans are to be at the southern, hope to everyone there!

I'm glad to hear that you're on the mend, David, it sounds like you are still collecting. You got some fine guns in Japan. I just sent you an e-mail. BTW I still carry the Gerber switchblade with me every day.The way things are now I never know when I might need it.

Best Regards, George

I tried to post pictures, no success! I'm hanging in there, I get admitted to the hospital on monday and they remove the tumor on Tuesday. So far everything is going to the doctors plan. I'm losing most of my thigh with the tumor, but the doctors said I should be able to walk and my running days are over, so no more jumping out of planes either. I just hate staying in the hospital for a week! My goal is to walk out like I walked in!

Best Regards, George

BTW: I never saw the logic in jumping out of a perfectly good airplane!

The surgery went well, the tumor in my thigh was the size of a football, I lost most of my right thigh and the pain is terrible, but the doctors here saved my leg, I'm all ready walking on it, just a long recovery and one more operation to go, install the titanium rod on my femor. Thanks to all the concerned Fox collectors here on this site!
