Was talking to my duck hunting buddy about pigeons yesterday and he reminded me of when he took his Fox out for some clays and stopped at the barn for 16`s; just below the high open window. As he came out, two of his resident coo-cooers made a break for it. The same pigeons that never clean up after themselves and never pay rent. The left barrel of the Sterlingworth locked on the closest and at the shot it dawdled, dove, and then straightened to rejoin the other. Together they then flew totally out of sight.
Joe leaned the gun next to his old gas tank and proceeded to menial task, reminiscing and tidying up. Eventually this took him back to the barn for a quart of oil for the old Dodge parked next to the gas tank. He popped the hood and was holding up the dipstick when he heard a whush-whush, sensed movement, and something slammed into the front fender! It immediately disappeared beneath the truck and when he got down to see what it was, there was the cat hustling off with a pigeon......Fox USUALLY gets the game......and anyone that leads that kind of life needs to be a club member!!!!..............DEN
