Recommended waterfowl loads for Foxes
I am going to Arkansas in a few weeks and wanted to try out one of my Foxes on waterfowl. What does everyone recommend for waterfowl loads? RST Nice Shot is the obvious answer, but they are out of stock with 12 gauge right now. No steel shot, I know. Thanks for any recommendations

Re: Recommended waterfowl loads for Foxes
Another question is what kind of non-tox shells are safe for older guns. I have Kent, Bismuth and Nice Shot. Steel is obviously out. What about Hevi Shot?
Re: Recommended waterfowl loads for Foxes
The only Hevi-Shot you should use is Hevi-Shot Classic Doubles. It works well but I still prefer Kent TM. Good luck.

I have shot the classic doubles 11/8 oz for the last few years. My unscientific assumption was that they would be easier on the gun. My hunting has been mostly for pheasants but they will also fold up a duck.
