Green Heads with my C/HE Super Fox

Post by fox-admin »

I took my C/HE Super Fox out for the first time duck hunting today, I have kinda hesitated in the past but figured what the heck it's needs a day back in the marsh.
Shot Kent TM 1 3/8 oz, man does that stuff work! Not as many birds today but shot three nice green heads. The old gun did it's job and I was proud.

Craig, I consider a pair of Greenheads a great day in the blind. Wow, 3 is even better! Were you using #5 TM's? I have used them in my HE with great success on Specs. Jim
Goodbye Mandy, once in a life time hunting dog. I miss you every day.

Craig........Of all the cool pictures I've seen over the years, the one with your lab is certainly among the best. Very, very nice! What a catalog cover that could make. I think it's your dog's intense focus that separates it for me. Thanks.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Birds dogs are amazing creatures whether they be retrievers, pointers or flushers, there zeal for the game stirs a spirit or bond between man and dog that is hard to explain, but one of life's greatest gifts from God. Giving them opportunities to hunt and seek game and work as a team with us brings man and dog great joy. If you don't think dogs can smile watch a lab swim back across a pothole with a big fat greenhead in it's mouth!

And if you think dogs can't get mad just try leaving yours at home!! I occasionally hunt on a friend's boat that doesn't have room for 2 dogs. Gus looks at me like I'm a traitor lol
