2007 draws to a close and it was a good year for me on the Fox Collecting front. I only added one Fox to the collection, a very nice A (I also picked up a LC Ideal 10ga my other area of interest). The highlight of the year was getting together with Fox friends for a sporting clays shoot in PA and setting and manning the Fox display at the Vintagers. It was great meeting so many new Fox enthusiasts in person and on the web site. It is fun to discover new guns on the web site and at events like the Vintagers.
2008 promises to be even more eventful with the formation of Fox Collectors Association Inc. A few more details need to be worked out and we will be making a formal announcement soon. A core group of very dedicated people has made the formation of a real Fox Collecting Association possible. So I would just like to say thank you to all that have participated, you have made 2007 interesting and enjoyable for me. God bless and have a Merry Christmas and may the New Year be grand. I couldn't agree more about 2007 and the advent of this Fox Collector's group - primarily through Craig's dedicated and much valued efforts. I've been fortunate this past year, meeting many new Fox enthusiasts both in cyberspace and in person. Much of my connection with Foxes and Fox people ties me back to my subteen years when this starry eyed kid first saw and admired our neighbor's Fox. Other parts connect to later years and my career and avocations. Anyway, thanks again to Craig and all my other Fox friends.

I hope you all have a nice, blessed Christmas and a healthy year in 2008. Frank "Silvers"

Thanks Craig for all the great work---it is easy from this side of the screen to log on and find all the Fox information at one site. I know a lot of work went into the final product. May you find a 20 guage XE in your stocking. Merry Christmas

Craig,
I am a very new Fox Collector and I have enjoyed learning from this web site that you and others have spent so much time and effort in putting together and maintaining. I bought my first AE grade (12 gauge early engraving) in May of this year using what I learned from all of you. I am very satisfied with how it shoots and of course it looks great on the range compared to all the new fangled guns. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us.

Merry Christmas,
Ricardo Blanco

Craig,
I can't thank you enough for all the effort you have put into this site and organization. I feel something missing in life if for some reason I can't check in here for a few day's.

My only wish is that it would be easier for me to get together with and meet some of the members here. Most of you seem to live in the eastern part of the country and the get togethers are back where you live.

I do wish all of you a very Merry Christmas!

Craig,
Thank you for all of your hard work. I look forward to receiving the DGJ and Shooting Sportsman hoping there will be new information from David Noreen or Tom Kidd but it doesn't happen. Im am thankful for the posts that they and all of the others have made here. This website has been most helpful. Thanks to all and Merry Christmas-John

Has anyone heard from Tom Kidd. I e-mailed him recently and got no response?

Craig, Thanks for all your work in setting up and maintaining this great site. And thanks for putting together such a great display at the Vintagers this year. I learned a great deal from you about these fine Fox Guns in the brief time we talked, Scott

We had some replies from Mr. K. a while ago. However, it's grouse season and I don't expect to hear from him for a bit.

Thanks for all you do. Although I'm simply a bird hunter with a couple of Sterlingworths and not a collector, I do favor the Fox shotgun over all others, and I enjoy the site. Best wishes to all for the New Year!
