Brian,
I've used that gun for the last 3 years. Thanks again. You've been a big help. Got any more?

I'm not in favor of any three way. Parker & LC Smith have their long time and excellent Challenge at the Southern in the spring and that works well with two collector associations and no others invited, which would likely dilute the spirit of competition. The Fox - Parker Challenge is similarly set up. LC Smith even has its "Smith only" shoot at Carlisle Fish & Game/PA every year in the spring. There's nothing to hinder the LC Smith, Ithaca, Lefever, Winchester, Remington, Baker, etc. groups from setting up their own dual association competition if their respective members want to take the initiative. JFI, the Vintagers sponsored a team shoot this year in the Sunday event, with all the Associations invited. Silvers

To each his own !

And I don't agree with your opinion . Same as you don't agree with mine .

Actually I would be up for all groups from Parker , LC Smith , Lefever , Ithaca , Baker and Fox competing as a teams in one event !

As to the spirit of competition being diluted thats based on the competitior and what they make of it . Personally I'd be more inclined to do better if the number of contestants was greater .

Well 6 pt, I certainly value your opinion; and I see you are in VA and in the heart of the eastern S x S competition scene. May I suggest that you take the lead to set up such a maker team competition event at one of the larger S x S shoots? Please let us know the details when it's set up and I'll do my best to get a team of Fox shooters to participate, depending on the location. Just for information, the Vintage Cup Side by Side Championship last Sunday had 38 shooters. That was the event that included the team challenge the Vintagers had set up for all American, British and Continental maker Associations. Silvers
