Barrel Switch

Post by 3birddogs »

Surprized myself yesterday. I have 2 SW 16's, both Savage guns with the grip cap. I was able to interchange barrels easily between the two and also the forends. So, I got out my 2 SW 20's and lo and behold, the barrels switched and snapped in place like they were made for each other( also Savage guns). The guns were fairly close in serial #'s , but I was surprized that I could do this. I dont think my A grade 16 barrels would switch to the SW's, but I think I may try that tonight.
Who knew!

Thanks Bobby--not going to try to shoot them that way, but I was just surprised that the barrels just snapped in place so easily.
