Anyone here on the board have any contact with Dewey lately?
I am trying to reach him but have not been able to contact him via email and his phone mailbox is full.

Thanks, Erik

I called him yesterday, left a message. He returned my call last night. The phone is best for a reply. Keep trying. I'm picking up two guns this morning.

FYI. I've been a customer of Dewey's for several years. I was disappointed recently to receive a message from him that he is terminating his business effective March of this year. He does excellent work and I am now without a Fox gunsmith.

Yeah, he wasted a year and a half of my life hanging on to my gun that he never started. Now I have to start over from scratch with another year + wait.
Just great....

Your LIFE? Seriously? I informed you a month ago that I would be going out of business, how about you come and pick up your gun?
Check your PM's.

A fellow collector, Vicknair customer and I had a very nice visit with Dewey last week. I picked up my last gun and we expressed our regrets about the end of a great gunsmithing legacy. I am hoping the more than wonderful Fox that Dewey filed for me will be stocked and engraved in the next three or four years.
