A few pictures from our driven pheasant hunt this morning. Boy did it feel good to finally get out and walk the fields again. The weather is unseasonably warm right now, so it was a little tough on the dogs, but the birds didn't seem to mind. I took out my new CE Grade 12ga for the first time, and with it's 26in tubes and Fox Cyl & Mod chokes, it was every bit the upland gun I knew it to be. I shot my fair share of pheasants, and even managed to bag two quail. I'll be at it again next weekend, and I'm already looking forward to it.

Thanks Jim. The original order card for this CE called for a Silvers Pad, which has obviously been replaced at some point with the White Line it has now. I'd like to put a period correct silvers pad back on it, and might add a little to the LOP in the process so it fits me better. I'm at least going to finish out this hunting season with it before I send it off to sit with a Gunsmith for what will probably be several months.

Followed up last weekend with another round of Pheasant Hunting this weekend on Saturday. Another great day in the fields for me and my Fox CE!

Thanks TOOL, on my scale she weighed in at 6lbs 8oz. No letter yet, and the order card is a bit hard to read, maybe 6lbs 12oz? I posted the order card as well as some other photos here if you're interested...http://foxcollectors.com/My%20Forum/php ... =11&t=4330
