Double with a CE 16ga Fox
Double with a CE 16ga Fox
Dog days of summer gives one time to plan for fall hunts and remember the previous season. Photos are taken in eastern Oregon, the day's hunt included chukar, huns and valley quail. These photos are the first wild birds for this young GWP, accurately pointed, I flushed and the result was a double for the Wire AND the Fox!! The gun is a 1937 vintage CE grade 16 gauge Fox.
Re: Double with a CE 16ga Fox
I found I am starting to really enjoy 16's. I will be using a Fox 16 for the dove opener this year.
Thank you for posting the pictures. What, 25 days and a wake up!

I think the "C" grade engraving is the most tasteful of the Fox engraving.
