Fox vs PARKER Challenge----It's Official

Post by TOOL MAN »

It's OFFICIAL-----Fox board votes 5 to 0 in favor of holding first, bonafide Fox vs.Parker Challenge Shoot at Vintage Cup.

The rules for Fox shooters are simple. We will hopefully kill two birds with our oversized Fox stones.......LOL!!!!

All that is required of a Fox shooter to participate, is to notify Fox shoot officials, that your American Classics round will count towards the Challenge. We note this, as many of you shoot multiple rounds of the AC event, in order to post a better score for the AH Fox Championship. We will only allow one, pre-determined round to be scored for the Fox/Parker contest. No additional entry fees will be required to participate. Think of this as a concurrent/concurrent.

The total combined, top five Fox scores will be compared to the total combined, top five Parker scores to determine the winner.

EX: Steve Cambria plans on shooting one round of the American Classics event. He notifies officials at Fox booth before he shoots that his score will count towards both the AHF Champ and the Challenge. He's done.

Frank Srebro plans on shooting two rounds of the American Classics event. Frank notifies Fox officials before shooting, that his first round will count towards the Challenge event.

A beautiful, revolving trophy, befitting of such a glorious contest, is being procured as we speak. Losing team appears at winning team's booth for award ceremony/press conference. We hope this will mark the beginning of a long-standing tradition in the shotgun shooting sports and bring some new blood into our Fox shooting events.........the Finest shooting events in the World!!!!

We hope to see many of you, shooting some Fox iron at Addieville............Godspeed TEAM FOX!!!!!!

Sincerely,

The Fox BOD's
Steve, Paul, Frank, Craig and Dave

Mike Campbell will be escorting Anna Nicole through one round of the American Classic course. See ya there!
Beware the man with one gun...he likely will bore you to death in others ways, too.

I will be shooting and I had an email from a really good Fox shooter last night who planned to participate. I see some hoopla over on the Parkaah site with some gents wanting to resort to 10 gauge guns for the Challenge. I guess the clock stopped in Meriden when the Super-Fox was intro'd, along with progressive burning powder and hard shot = pretty much what we all are shooting today. Speaking of clocks, what was that cool saying about cleaning clocks?

Hey Toolman, shouldn't we limit this Challenge to AHFCA and PGCA members of record as of each organization's last membership roster? Thus neither team can be accused of bringing in "ringers". I heard on the news this morning there was a unexpected surge in phone calls overnight from New England to the U.K. Telephone officials were at a loss to explain the surge. Silvers

Wonderful news Mike!! That should add a nice layer of "char" to some of those Meriden horse chestnuts!!!! LOL!!!!!

Yes, Silvers, will add both points to my official posting over on the PGCA site, later this morning. Better keep your hornet spray handy.
This next volley may get the swarm, a wee bit active.-----TOOL
