Fox Ephemera Doing Well
Three bits of A.H. Fox Gun Co. ephemera just did quite well on ebay. A plain little A.H. Fox Gun Co. envelope addressed to the Wm. Stein Co., Camden, NJ, and postmarked July 1919 went for $53. The large woodgrain catalogue of 1928-30 vintage, said it was a 1929 but no mention of a dated retail price list, went for $331.03. The cream of the crop was a bag of wooden balls for the Fox Play Gun with a tag and screw attached that went for $403.02.

Those extra accessories: the Fox tag, the screw, the nut and the wood rod are neat.
I'm waiting for someone to say what the screw, nut and dowel are for.

Re: Fox Ephemera Doing Well
Someone must be into some old Wm. Stein Co. paper, as now there is a 1918 A.H. Fox Gun Co. envelope addressed to Wm. Stein Co. on ebay.
