I just read Craig Larter's article in the most recent Double Gun Journal and really enjoyed it. I have a CE 12 #20013 shipped October 17, 1912. I have the variation where a pointer is engraved instead of the setter in the dog scene. Was this purely the engraver taking his own artistic license or possibly a request from the Buyer? Kinda fun and thanks for writing the article Craig.

Re: Fox C grade
We have identified three engravers of the per-1913 guns. There styles are different and not that difficult to identify. I believe the early engraving was done by contractors and that they had more freedom of artistic expression. Parker was no different in the early days many contract workers. Re: Fox C grade
Thank you Bobby.
Mark, I just got the gun back a month or so ago. 8 to 10 months to get to the front of the line and complete the restoration.
The gun is a two barrel set .
