More Pictures from Hausmann's Hidden Hollow

Post by SmithShady »

A few more photos from the Northeast SxS. What a great time. I'll have this one on my calendar next year for sure. The Bo-Whoop was a challenge indeed. I donated quite a few dollars to the pot trying to figure those long birds out. Tom, it was great meeting you, and my hat's off to you for hitting four targets. That win was well deserved. As you'll see from the photos, I spent quite a bit of time with the "Parker Brothers" out shooting the clays courses. I shot the Large and Small bore courses multiple times, with the later being my favorite. I shot my 20ga Sterlingworth until the left ejector pin came loose about half way through the first round. Daryl, thanks again for the "Loaner", a sweet little straight grip 20ga Parker VHE Skeet gun. Much like the Southern, there was no shortage of awesome guns. Check out Scott's Fox Trap gun beside his Sterlingworth cut away in the pictures below. Between Mark, Bill, Tom and Frank, I bet there haven't been that many Super Foxes together since they were sitting on the rack at the Fox plant. On top of that, I saw two additional vent rib Foxes, another 12ga Trap one serial number from Scott's, and the factory prototype A Grade vent rib 20ga  . Again, it was great seeing everyone and meeting so many new people. So, what's next? Vintagers?

Mike, thanks so very much. A great collage of pics that took time to capture, sort through and then put together with captions. THANK YOU! It was great seeing you again. Just for info to all ... our new Fox scorer Ms. Taylar signed up for next year's Bo-Whoop. P.S. she spells her name as I wrote here.

Yep, the next one is the Vintage Cup in Addieville RI, late September. We'll be running our annual Ansley H Fox Championship on the sporting course there. Details will be posted as the time gets closer. Some of us have had our hotel rezzes set up for months now..... email if it looks like you can make it and want to know where. Always nice to hang out in the Fox den. Thanks again. Frank

Mike,

Great meeting you and thanks for taking all those great shots. I hope you were using Kodak "film" 'cause all the Kodak folks up this way need all the help they can get with Kodak's bankruptcy.

Mike, Thank You! It was good to meet you. I wish I shot with you guys more. I hope we can get a group of Fox guys together to shoot at Addiesville.
As for Kodak.... seems over the last 20 years they were selling off any profitable part of the company to focus on their "Core Business". We now know the "Core Business" was paying a bunch of useless Vice Presidents WAY too much money! The company deserves what they got! It is too bad the people that worked there and pensioned out are the ones who got screwed. In fact in the last bankruptcy hearing they were allowed to give raises of up to 18% to keep "Key People"? What a Joke!
If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck
