Sporting Collectibles

Post by Researcher »

Sporting collectibles look pretty strong by the results of the Ward's Auction which ended last night.

https://www.wardscollectibles.com/browse.php

$4095 for an empty California Powder Works 10-gauge shotshell box. A full, sealed, two-piece box of Rem-UMC Arrow 20-gauge 3-inch shells went for over $200 more than I paid for a similar full sealed box three auctions ago. I tried for a full sealed two-piece box of Peters 3-inch 20-gauge High Velocity shells with the Blue Winged Teal on the label, but was an also bid!! The A.H. Fox Gun Co. How to Buy a Gun booklet went for $53; A Fox Proof hang tag went for $90 and the buy was the hang tag for a 12-gauge Sterlingworth #118297 for $12.

So, Dave, were you the lucky buyer of the 3" 20 gauge shells?
