Pete Mazur restored A Grade

Post by Utah Shotgunner »

I have a chance to pursue this gun.

12ga
30" Krupp Barrels
Straight grip conversion w/ correct tang extension.
Approx. 6lb 10oz

I can not turn up anything useful in making a fair offer. Does anyone know of any similar guns currently listed or having recently sold?

ETA: I recognize this may not be the 'correct' forum for such a question. My thinking was that more people with knowledge of Mazur's work may look in here. Thanks!

First off, I'm not familiar with Pete Mazur. What you are looking at is an altered gun there(drops the value). This gun may have outstanding wood and checkering and in my opinion, that would enhance the value. That said, it's going to be a judgement call on price on your part.

Utah:

Pete Mazur is one of the top restoration artists in the world. He has worked on many "best quality" guns and is a member of the Gunmakers Guild. I've seen many of his completed projects, both wood and metal. While he may not have the notoriety of Turnbull's, his work does not take second place to anyone.
