Mark your calendars now!! The 7th annual New England SxS Fun Shoot will be held on Sat., May 12th at Addieville East Farm, Maplevile, RI.
(Rain date is Sun. the 13th)

"FUN" shoot they say?? Do not be deceived comrades, by the notion that "fun" ever enters the equation here!!!! Those Matrons of Meriden, those Darlings of Duplicity are once again, leaving the hen house door ajar!!! We all know that the capstone of this event has and forever will be, the Parker vs Fox team challenge, for bragging rights and the highly coveted, $50 Ulysses S. Grant, commemorative trophy!!!! It's been 2 long years since Team Fox has made an earnest attempt at recovering the prize, so how 'bout it? Let's make 2012 the year we take that "PHIFTY" back to Philly, where it belongs!!!!!

Festivities will begin @ 9ish. We usually shoot 100 rounds of sporting (give or take) followed by lunch, show & tell and then, time permitting, finish the day, out on the 5-stand course. Not a bad way to spend a Sat. in New England!!!

Also remember, that Addieville will be hosting this year's Vintage Cup Shoot in late September, so what better way to preview/tune-up before tournament time!!!

Addieville has several grills for those who wish to prepare their own lunch. Golf carts are also available for rental.

At the moment I'm trying to assemble the necessities for reloading my own low pressure rounds. I'm hoping to track down a relatively cheap used machine in CT so I can get some practice in on the skeet range!

So far, only 1 1/2 (fifty/fifty) Fox shooters, other than myself??? James Orr....Gregg Elliott....check your PM's. C'mon guys, surely we can round up a few more attendees for this one?? God help us if we can't put a hurtin' on those Pahkah boyzzz on the 12th. Based on this past weekend's proceedings, there will be no living with them once they reach Hidden Hollow in June. The horror............

Ithaca, If I remember right they give us the membership rate and a round of sporting costs about $40.00. In years past I have shot all day ie: sporting and five stand in the afternoon for about $60.00 or so. Don,t miss this event. Its a great day with some great people!

had a great time at Addieville,meet alot of good guys(parker collectors)! was hoping to meet some fox collectors.the weather was great and look forward to the next shoot!
