PM's from other Users and Members

Post by Silvers »

Gents and Ladies, recently I learned that some users and members haven't enabled the PM (personal message) function that sends an "alert" to your personal email, when someone sends you a PM. And in that case, the PM just sits there because it's not too obvious in your mail box. Here's how to enable the email alert if you want to. Silvers

>>> You MUST be logged in with your user name and password

>>> Look above left and click on USER CONTROL PANEL ---------> BOARD PREFERENCES --------> ENABLE: "NOTIFY ME ON NEW PRIVATE MESSAGES"

After posting this a friend emailed to me and asked how to read PM's once you know you have one. Again, log into the site and look upper left - you will see a tab that says (X new messages). Note X is the number of messages you have... it could be 0, 1, 2 etc. If there is a number there just click on that tab and check your in-box.
