No it's not the same as checking a Fox serial number against the approx range of serial numbers made that year.

Paying members of the Fox Collectors are entitled to 1 free card lookup per year. That's a copy of the the front and sometimes the back side of the factory manufacturing record card for the gun (jpg image). Card shows most manufacturing specs, the original consignee is usually shown, and shipping date is on the front of many cards. Cards are available for most all GRADED A H Fox guns (A, B, C, etc) above approx serial number 9,600. We have no cards for Sterlingworths. Additional lookups beyond 1 per year are available to members for a nominal fee. Membership info is shown on the Home Page. Note there are phantom forums here that are visible to members with a password, and only when the member is enabled. That's where members request card lookups. Usually the card copy is emailed that day or the next. This service is invaluable if you're looking to verify a Fox that's for sale, but can't wait 8 weeks for a "factory letter" from Mr. J T Callahan. Frank Silvers

Frank-I am a paying member and have a password but cannot find or enter the location where the card requests are located. All I get is a referral to John Callahan. ?? JD.

JD, since you are posting here you obviously found the login tab and have a password. If you are "enabled" you should see the AHFCA Members Forum (second one down). If you don't see that Members Forum I would say you're probably not enabled. In that case please send a PM to our webmaster fox-admin who can take care of that.

Hey your name sounds familar. I sent you a PM myself. Frank
