Any vintage truck guys here?

Post by Silvers »

Yes this is Fox shotgun related... I'm working on a manuscript for an interesting one, and was sent this picture of a truck that probably carried it. Can anyone identify the make and approximate year? For now I've cropped the pic and blocked out the gents standing alongside, also the owner's name. Thanks in advance for any help. Silvers

It looks like plenty of room for a long namie on the nameplate on the side of the hood. Ford did not use those.

Here is a picture of a 1933 International Pick Up. Looks close.

Thanks everyone. I also posted this query on doublegunshop and received replies there as well. It seems this is a 1930/31 International truck with a store delivery type body. This is related to research I'm doing on a Fox that had a good life. Two publishers are interested in my manuscript, and I'm hoping it will appear in print sooner or later in one of the mags. Frank
