NEW ADDRESS for J T Callahan "Factory Letters"

Post by Silvers »

I've been in touch with Mr Callahan regarding an interesting Fox, in prep for doing an article on it. Today I received a correspondence from John, and in it he notes a new address for inquiries, as shown below:

John T. Callahan
Arms Historian
P.O. Box 82
Southampton, MA 01073

Current pricing for Mr. Callahan's research and a factory letter is $30.00 for Sterlingworths, and $40.00 for all other A H Fox shotguns to include all graded guns, single barrel trap (SBT) guns, and "SP/SPE" doubles. John asks that collectors do not request more than (3) guns to be searched at one time. Also, he mentions that response will take about 8 weeks from the time he receives your inquiry and completes the research.

Thanks for a tip of the hat. Just for info - beyond A H Fox shotguns made by Savage - Mr Callahan also does "letters" for many other Savage Arms serialized firearms of both pre and post December '68 manufacture. Also for J. Stevens Arms firearms. I don't have a scanner so I can't post that part of John's letter which is too detailed for me to retype here. I presume this information on Savage and Stevens is or will be posted on the collector sites dedicated to them. Frank Silvers
