Recently, I watched a couple of eBay auctions of Michael McIntosh's book A. H. Fox The Finest Gun In The World, the trade edition seems to be now selling for some real money. It wasn't all that long ago they were lingering on the booksellers shelves at less than the issue price.

The limited leather bound edition of 500 copies signed by McIntosh brought less than the trade edition, I wonder why?

.....perhaps it was because it had a nasty gash out of the leather on the spine.

Re: A.H. Fox by McIntosh
Wow!! Somebody must have wanted that revised trade edition really bad!! To my eyes the color reproduction of the pictures in the original trade edition is better than in the revised edition. I had about six pages of errata for the revised edition, but the only thing "revised" was the addition of the chapter on the CSMC Ansley H. Fox doubles.
