New J Grade post
Most of us rarely look way down on the index to the J-K-L-M Grade section. Just for anyone interested in Fox SBT guns, I posted a new one there just now. Silvers

Re: New J Grade post
Looks like you have fitted 2 different pads to the gun.
Is the second (current) one a Hawkins pad?
What is the first one?
Other than Silvers pads, what type of pad did most trapshooters have installed at the factory?

Re: New J Grade post
They are both Hawkins pads. I seem to remember the second one with the heart shaped openings, is a Model 25 that was intro'd in about 1920. I don't know the model number for the one with the slots, but I think it's a newer version. Probably any of the other pads available were fitted on request, circa whenever the gun was made/shipped. Re: New J Grade post
When doing card look-ups for members I've noticed some single traps ordered with Jostam Anti-Flinch pads.
