Sterlingworth 12 ga 2 barrel set
Sterlingworth 12 ga 2 barrel set
I recently acquired a Phil. Sterlingworth 12 ga. 2 barrel set, and am wondering how common these are? The serial number is 66996, both barrels are 28" and are marked 1 & 2 on the flats. The chokes have been modified by previous owner(s). The FE latches are different (one is the Kremer type) so I assume that a barrel set was added later on. Other than normal use and wear it is in great shape. Thanks for any information.

Re: Sterlingworth 12 ga 2 barrel set
Many moons ago I had a
12 gauge two barrel Sterlingworth, serial number 9490X. A 26 inch set with open chokes and a 28" set with M and F barrels.
Also had a 12 gauge Super Fox HE grade with two barrels, 30" M and F and 32" F and F and Fox Kautsky single trigger. SN 2785X.
And a CE grade 12 gauge two barrels, 26" IC and Mod Krupp and 30" M and F Chromox. SN 1839X.
And a late style AE grade 12 gauge with two barrels, 28" M and F Krupp and 32" IM and F Chromox, SST and AE's. SN 2150X.
Sadly, they are long gone and being enjoyed I'm sure by another Fox fan.
