6th Annual Addieville Shoot----MAY 14th

Post by TOOL MAN »

ATTN: Fox Shooters

The sixth annual ,SxS fun shoot will be held at the venerable shooting grounds of Addieville East Farm, Mapleville ,RI on Saturday, May 14th. Early indicators point to a record turnout this year!!! Addieville, is one of the premiere sporting clays venues in the country and if you have never visited, it would be well worth the trip. We will be shooting 100 rounds of sporting, with a break for lunch, gun show & tell( a.k.a. brag 'n gag) followed by a visit to their very challenging, 5-Stand layout. Sure beats a day of honey-dos and/or yard work!!!!!

One of the traditions that has emerged in year's past, is an informal, Fox vs Parker team challenge. The prize is a crisp $50 bill to the winning organization and of course, more important than the money, are the bragging rights that follow!!!! Last year, the Paaakah boys emerged victorious, however several of the Fox team were suffering from mysterious flu-like symptoms, that we later diagnosed as a virulent strain of, "Meriden Malaria". This year, we would love to bring that FIFTY, back to Philly, where it so deservedly belongs!!!

So far, I'm leading a team of ONE. If that's all the Fox shooters we can muster....it will be head-to-head, match play event. Would love to find 4 more shooters!!! PM me, if you think you can make it. It truly is, a great day at a fabulous shooting club. Rain date will be Sunday the 15th. For directions, visit their website at, addieville.com or call 401-568-3185. This is a great warm-up for the NE SxS Shoot ,in early June. Hope you can make it.----3 feet and swingin' hard-----TOOLMAN

Thanks for posting this up Tool! Steve, Is right early indicators are for quite a few more than last years 30 shooters. We even have a few folks that are going to lodge overnight! This shoot is starting to grow and maybe we can atract some vendors in the next few years. So come on down for a great day of double gun comraderie!

You guys need to squad up because us Parkers guys need another $50.00 bill to go with the one we already have....

Off the glass........

Weather forecast is for 70 degrees, partly sunny skies. Still looking for 4 more shooters, to fill the squad.
Placing a call today, to my friends on the British World FITASC Team. I do believe a certain butcher in Sussex, may soon be joining the AHFCA??? Those "Meriden Matrons" won't know what hit 'em!!!!

That's how we ROLLLLLLLLL..................
On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....
