Flat sided receiver Utica Fox Sterlingworth..pic heavy

Post by nca225 »

Well I got it in and took some pics. Here's the low-down: LOP 14 1/4", DAC 1 1/2", DAH 2 5/8", Chokes IC & F by my Galazaan choke gauge, Weight 6lbs 8 5/8 oz by my postage scale.
Serial #: On the Barrels, Receiver and forearm the serial number is 377060, but on the trigger guard it looks to be 377050...What gives with this? The trigger guard looks to have been fooled with a bit too from the pics. Condition is really good save for the trigger guard, the Barrels look very good and it has nice wood and nice case coloring on the receiver and the checkering on the wood still feels very crisp, as crisp as I've ever seen on a 70 year old gun. Here's some pics (shots taken at night in poor lighting):

Looks to be a nice gun. I've seen 5s and 6s on the TGs that looked similar. To me the TG is 377060 but check it with a good magnifying glass.
