Card Search?

Post by JakeFlyFish »

What is a card search? I've been a member for a bit now, but just recently took a peek at the Members only area and see folks discussing a card search. Thanks much, Jerry

They are the hand written cards that were the "build sheets" of Fox guns. They were copied and then the copies were donated to AHFCA. If you join AHFCA you are able to order a card by serial number and a photo of that card is emailed to you. Notes information like chokes, customer, stock dimensions, barrel lenght, grade, pre-struck barrel weight, special features, load to be shot through the gun, etc...

Best,

Mike

Jerry, refer to the sixth "sticky" from the top on the Members Forum. That thread explains Card checks in detail. Silvers
