Pheasants opens in Central NY

Post by fox-admin »

Well the pheasant season opened in NY Saturday and took my two girls out today Monday for some exercise on State lands, two nice "taxpayer" birds.
The Fox is a CE 12ga 28" with a really nice stock serial number 26012.

Goddddd.... between you and Silvers, you're killing me!!!! I'm locked in a New Britain dungeon all week, looking at new products for 2011. I'm the only hunter in the group....they don't understand the torture they put us through, when they schedule Oct/Nov. meetings!!!! My boss can't figure out why my productivity plummets in Q4....haaa-haaaa!!!

Not to worry. My arrrs will be in a 10 acre, honey-hole on Sat morning, with a Super Fox across my lap. Most recent intel, shows the place, teeming with corn-fed, red legs. More news to follow, as it filters in from the mallard front.
So many tools....so little time. ..........
On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

Go get'em Tool Man! Ducks opens Saturday here, our marsh is full of wild fowl. I haven't decided what Fox to take along, decisions, decisions!
Off to Fort Drum on Wednesday with a couple of friends for woodcock and grouse, just have to stay clear of the 10th Mountain Division boys.
Last year we came across a platoon on exercise, M-16's at the ready, impressive and intimidating. The tanks make nice clearing through the cover!!
Have fun and report in. Craig

Don't own no Model 11s, but I do have a full set of the three-shot version The Sportsman. Only triple I ever made was with my 16-gauge The Sportsman. Hard to make a triple with old meat-in-the-pot!!
