West yellowstone
I attended a car show in West Yellowstone Mt. last weekend. Lots of 1930's vintage street rods and later muscle cars. It was amazing that those in attendance all had the same color of hair as those at the Las Vegas gun show!

What you young guys don't understand is that the even younger guys are just waiting in the wings to take your place. It's all about the money. I am a rarity in the car and gun collecting business. I started when I was eleven and never lost interest. Most start when they get money. Relax, there will be someone to sell your cars and guns to.

The 1959 Ferrari LWB 250GT Tour de France car stalled a $3,500,000 at Mecum. Didn't get to the four million reserve!!

Re: West yellowstone
My point was that there are more people with gray hair than there are young foilks getting started. When I was a kid I could walk out the back door and roam the hills with a gun in hand. Now it is more of a challenge for a kid to access open land and develop an interest in guns and shooting. The areas that I hunted in junior high and high school are covered by houses. I am lucky to live in a state with open areas that are can be reached by auto in a short amount of time. Hunting isn't what it used to be but a guy can still get out with a dog and walk public access areas. If I make a little or loose a little on a fox doesn't really matter much, I have had the pleasure of being the care taker for a while. Hope fully my son will want to keep my small collection so market value doesn't really matter.
