Tom, I will not be able to make it :? Have a good time Pan. Maybe you or another member can shoot out a quick post after 31088 goes through? Frank

Tom, I would come up if I could find a travelling companion. I'll check around. Where are you staying? Good luck with the bidding. Bill Murphy

Tom: Good luck with your bidding. I wish that I could be there. I'm going to "phone bid" on a couple items (not BW).

Best Regards, George

FC,

That is high praise , coming from a craftsman such as yourself. I also thought it to be an excellent re-stock when I examined it last October, but Jim would really appreciate hearing your opinion. I may be riding up to see him tomorrow to pick up a gun he repaired for me, and if I do I will certainly tell him what you posted. He is a fine Southern gentleman and a fine doublegun 'smith to boot. Also hope to get a look at George's big 4-bore.

Stan: I'm thinking about riding over to see Jim this afternoon to look at the Reilly & pick up a Hughes. Let me know if you plan to come & perhaps we can be there at the same time.

George,

Sorry, I didn't get your message 'til after I got back. I left early this morning and got back home just after lunch. The Reilly receiver and butt looks really nice. Man, that is a massive receiver! Sorry I didn't get to see the barrels, but he said they were not back from the engraver yet. I told Jim and Phil what FoxedChisels said about the restocking job on BoWhoop. They really appreciated that comment. Jim did the restocking and Phil did the checkering.

Tom,
I wish I was there for a "lobsta" roll and a cold beer. Maine is a great state. I was lucky enough to drop a couple of "tall ones" at the Vegas show. What a wonderful experience to handle the gun. Enjoy the auction.

Maine lobsters aren't anything compared to the hot dogs and sauerkraut at the Marilyn Monroe snack bar at the Riviera.

Hey Stan: I have just heard a rumor (and it is just a rumor) that someone here in the Southland is putting up some big bucks in the bidding for Bo Whoop. If he is successful he plans to place it beside BW #2 in the Ducks Unlimited Museum in Memphis, TN. To me that would be great!

Best Regards, George

Tom I plan on making the trip up Sunday morning. I will hook up with you guys at the preview. I look forward to talking with you and any other Fox Gents that plan on attending. This will be a milestone event in Foxdom. My hope is that whoever ends up with "Ole Bo Whoop" will somehow make it up to the Northeast SxS event this spring and shoot it in the "Bo Whoop challenge", the event named after it!!! How cool would that be!!!! Paul
