Off topic, but proud Dad

Post by fox-admin »

One of the great joys of fatherhood is watching your boys grow into men. For hunters, the joy of watching traditions carry on helps reduce the pain of watching parents grow old , friends and old bird dogs pass. So in one little corner of western NY the traditions we all value pass to my son. Not a trophy in the eyes of most but a trophy in the eyes of his father. God bless us all that love the outdoor life!

Craig, you've written very well about what many of us have experienced with our own sons and daughters. Your pic is great! Thanks for sharing. As write this some good whitetail mounts are looking down on me but as I tell one of our sons often, his first buck, an eastern count 4 pointer, is the best of the lot. I think of that hunt often and I know he does too. Frank
