In teh back of "Best Guns" Mr. McIntosh gives a reference of an individual who will, for a small fee, send shop order information from the original Philadelphia manufacturer. My envelope was returned "not deliverable." Can anyone help me out? The reference is S. Roe Clark, Route 1 Otis Stage Road, Blandford Mass which I copied correctly from the book.
Thanks,
Ed

Ed,
Mr. Clark has passed away. The gentleman who now handles these AH Fox info requests is John Callahan, 53 Old Quarry Rd, Westfield, MA 01085. I believe the fee is $45.00 these days.
The AH Fox Collectors association (this website) also has copies of the records for the "graded" guns and does provide information for it's members. It's a great club and perhaps you would consider joining us for the small $25.00 yearly dues. There is alot of information to be gathered here. (most of it true...hahaha)

Thank You TJ,
Seven dollars was reasonable but for a Sterlingworth, the date of manufacture will have to be sufficient. I can buy a lot of gas and upland shells to go hunting, for $45.
I do appreciate your help however.
Good Hunting.

Wow, I didn't realize Mac's book was getting to be that long in the tooth! Factory letters haven't been seven bucks for a good long time!

Unless it's changed I believe that the cost is $30 for Sterlingworths and $40 for graded Foxes if you are a member of AHFCA. To me that's a real bargain to fill in the history of my Fox guns.
