Can anyone give me an estimate of what this gun would be worth in very good condition ? What are the pros and cons of this gun ?

Sorry but it's ~impossible to estimate a value without seeing the gun or full pics, and assessing any special features, originality and condition. Value could be in the range of zero to 2k or more, depending. Not to discount your "very good" condition comment but that is often in the eye of the beholder. Silvers

The pros are it is most likely a great handling gun for Upland Birds.....the cons are you will want another one, two or ten after you have the first one.

The best way to determine the value of your gun is to compare it other guns on the web that are selling. There are many just being advertised at high prices but have been advertised for a long time so they can give you are rather twisted view of the market.

Thanks for the info. The gun that I verbally bought is very nice but I am concerned because the lever (tang) sometimes snaps back when it is open. Is this a weak spring ?
