problem with safety
So i took my CE out for its first shooting... about 50% of the time results in the safety sliding back into the safe position... go to pull the second trigger and you get declined....
is there anyway to adjust the safety tension? Is there a deeper problem here? Tried shooting one barrel first verse the other... did not matter, some times the safety came on, some times it did not.
The really bad news, Took my A grade out for its first shoot as well... and it has even worse issues.
The good news, is I still had fun, and I hope everthing should be fairly easily repairable.

Beware the man with one gun...he likely will bore you to death in others ways, too.

I am going to wait until my brass drift set and gunsmithing screwdriver kit show up... previously I ahve filed a few screwdrivers for different applications but its time to have the right tools for the job every time... expensive hobby... everytime I turn around, I am ordering something....

Any resolution to this problem? You can't learn from taking a quiz if you never hear the correct answers.

Re: problem with safety
As for the C grade, just bent the safety spring a little bit... took it out hunting on Sunday... 4 doves and a squirrel, a few double shots, no problems (passed on a few rabbits b/c I could not remember if they were in season, turns out they were)... not the best dove gun but it worked out okay... hoping to sneak back out tomorrow morning... sort of a beginner bird hunter. Saw a bunch of birds that I would have described as either wood cocks or snipe... long bills probbing in the mud, need to look into which they are and seasons ... have not seen these on the family farm in the past but with all of the rain my farm looks more like a swamp... ducks opened sunday and they were EVERYWHERE... need to find some bismuth and buy a duck stamp I guess....
The A grade is another story... have not come to a firm conclusion but think that maybe someone replaced the left trigger at some point with one not originally fitted to this gun.... I am going to take some pics and post about it soon.
