Was at our local sportsman's club last Saturday. Shot my first double with a "the finest gun in the world", shipped 1915.

The was the opening of small game in PA. The birds flew well but seemed particularly hard to kill. Yes on a very special hunt. But I do have other "user" guns and I do feel it is more important to preserve the crispness for the next owner.

Nice find, I have a savage fox 16 made a year earlier. This could be its twin. Unfortunately I had the stock refinished years ago when it was the thing to do.
