Re: Late Season Grouse
Putting out the lure - that's a good one. And come to think of it, it works for deer too.

Late Season Grouse
Wednesday was a warm and cloudy day here in Western PA. I decided to take my knock-about Sterlingworth to the grouse woods. After about an hour with no flushes, I decided to make my way to an access road and leaned the gun against the tree to answer the call of nature when a bird burst out of a patc...

First Day of Pheasant in PA
The was the opening of small game in PA. The birds flew well but seemed particularly hard to kill. The Fox Model B, which I recently handed down to my son, was given to me at age 13: The best Christmas present I ever got. http://i781.photobucket.com/albums/yy91/FreaknPwned/IMG_20151024_100726566.jpg

Re: New Addition
Yes on a very special hunt. But I do have other "user" guns and I do feel it is more important to preserve the crispness for the next owner.

Re: My first Fox- Sterlingworth 16
Nice find, I have a savage fox 16 made a year earlier. This could be its twin. Unfortunately I had the stock refinished years ago when it was the thing to do.

Re: New Addition
That is a sweet 16 A. Be careful with the left cheek, however, if you did not notice it looks like the start of a crack in the typical spot where the wood is thin. It does look like there is a split on the pictures in a troublesome area but if you look closely it seems to be in the grain or somethi...

New Addition
I found this Fox at one of the local gun shows in my area. It's a 16 ga. A that was shipped in 1923. I had to talk myself into attending this show because it seems all you see is plastic and stainless. I guess you have to believe in the old phrase "they are where you find them." Here are s...

Not receiving membership
Over a month ago, I used the "new" paypal feature to purchase a membership on the site. To this day, I have yet to receive any information or status regarding the membership. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
