There are a few years of VL&A records in the archives of Griffin & Howe but since I have retired there is no one there who can check the records. What is the serial number and the year of manufacture of your gun?

Fox ME 400370 was received in inventory at Abercrombie & Fitch on September 10, 1929. The stock dimensions recorded were 1 7/16 x 1 1/2 x 14 7/8.
Number 400493 (Grade ME) was also received at A&F on the same day.

Sorry to be late to this party but I've been busy. I can't believe that with over 55,000 serial numbers that I've made available you guys aren't taking advantage of the information that I've been archiving for the past 2 years. Fox 300004 is listed on the Research page of the Griffin & Howe site...
