That is interesting Bret, I always look the Hollenbeck guns over when I see them but have never pulled the trigger on one. I see the shotgun barrels are Damascus, is the lower rifle barrel also Damascus? I’m sure you noticed the Damascus 28 gauge that surfaced recently, were you the fortunate winner...

By the appearance of the wood, the heat must not have been too high. It would be interesting to know more details on this gun, perhaps a Magnum if he was a friend of Nash’s? (Oops not likely that it is a Magnum since it is a 16)

Sorry Stan, I contacted the auctioneer and asked if the consignor would accept an offer before the auction. The consignors were three family members and they said would consider an offer.
