Re: Handicapped Sub-Gauge at Rock Mountain Results

Yeah,

I had noticed Mike tried to pull a fast one there.

Does Big Mike actually own and shoot a Crescent Arms or what is his fascination with that manufacturer ?

Again, Nice Shooting!

Re: A Fox Dilemma

Yes please do not alter a SXS with 32" barrels  But then again, the gun is your gun, so you get to decide. I have yet to alter any chokes in any of my SXS guns, I know some fellows do but they're more serious/competitive than myself. Some guns just fit right, those are the ones I tend to...

Re: If You Got It Use It

Dave, This is the first time I’ve ever seen the Ithaca Snow Shoe Rabbit poster, as well as the Ithaca Pheasant poster, are these that rare or am I just young? I’m really curious as to where these prices might land. I was able to pickup the Ithaca Wild Turkey poster a few years back, and upon receivi...

fox-admin wrote: Tue Mar 05, 2024 3:41 am Stan how long are the barrels on your 8ga?
They are 34",

this is the lightest 8 gauge I've owned and recoil is more noticeable, but the gun is quicker in the hands.

Re: Nichols and Lefever

They are some unique & interesting guns,

I became owner of an 8 gauge built in this same time frame.

I would love to score 10 & 12 gauge, but I've not encountered the Nichols & Lefever guns very often.

eightbore wrote: Wed Feb 21, 2024 1:11 pm I have a small flock of those cases that I bought for my eight gauges. They will look great with the barrels blocked for the 12 gauge size.
May I ask what length barrels these 8 gauge cases might accommodate Bill?

Sounds good Roger, You’re in good hands there with Craig offering to send you sized hulls. Looking forward to meeting you at the next 8 gauge event. As far as a spring SXS event, we have the event put on by the Smith group at Carlisle Fish & Game that coincides with the Baltimore Arms Show or th...
