Checkering question
I am restoring the wood on a 1938 Sterlingworth. I purchased a 60 and 90 degree cutter hoping to just clean up the checkering. Both cutters seem to cut too deep and making a mess. I am assuming (and measured) that the checkering is 16LPI. I am totally new at this and stopped before I did too much da...

I spoke to someone at RST and they have lite 2 3/4 loads that I can use in the gun. What shells are most of you using...what do you recommend? I am told that Federal make a ...

1927 Sterlingworth

I found a Savage Fox Sterlingworth (1938) also in great condition. I plan on refinishing the wood on that as well...

Recoil Pad
Just picked a Fox Sterlingworth (1938-39). It has a broken butt plate. I like to have a red recoil pad installed that looks factory. Can anyone direct me to a source?

Savage SW
I just finished a 1927 SW and ready for another gun project. Yes I have Fox fever. Friend at a local shop says he has a Savage fox SW. From the serial number sounds like a 1937. Worth spending the money or should I wait for another Philly gun to come along. Is there much difference in quality and va...
