Re: Fun afternoon with my girl and a fox

Thanks va, we were both hot indeed. I brought a gallon of water out for the both of us and we had finished it when the evening was over.

Fun afternoon with my girl and a fox

Went dove hunting the other afternoon and had quite a fun time. It was my Chesapeake's first hunt and she worked beautifully and I even shot my ol double pretty good as well :D

Re: Turkey Hunting

Not much prettier than the swamp in my opinion, nice pics. I have already tagged out this season but I plan on definitely having a load figured out for next season

Re: Turkey Hunting

Very nice! to both the bird and the gun. I wish Federal could make a lower pressure load using their flight control wads. I patterned some of these in a fixed full barrel 870 wingmaster I have and got great results but I would be afraid to shoot them in an old double due to the recoil and payload.

Turkey Hunting

Anyone on here turkey hunt with a Fox? Just curious as to what gun/load you might shoot. I have already patterned my L.C. so I'm going to take it out in the beginning but would love to take my 12 gauge A later this season.

Re: Firing pin question

Turns out the firing pin has broke off the hammer and it appears that it has been welded on before. Just talked to Jason at Pumpkin Mountain (super nice guy) and should have a new hammer in the mail tomorrow.

Re: Hello and new A grade

Thanks guys I really appreciate it! I do plan on joining the association ASAP because I would like to get the card on this gun. I can't wait to take this old girl in the field. I have shown the gun to all my friends and while they do think its cool and pretty, they really don't have the appreciation...

Firing pin question

Hello guys, I recently picked up an A grade 12 a couple days ago that I posted about in the collectors forum. I shot the gun 2 or 3 times the day I got it with no issues. Well today I decided to bust a few skeet with it. I shot it probably 15-18 times with no issues but on the last shot I only shot ...

Hello and new A grade

Hello all. I have been reading this site for a while and have been amazed at the wealth of information here. Anyway, I am relatively new to the fox world. I am a pretty young guy to be so in love with double guns (26) but I have been crazy about them since I was a little kid for some reason. When I ...
