We will see how t...

cocking slide spring
I received the spring yesterday and today I took the Fox apart. I removed the trigger guard and set the spring into the hole. My question is, is the spring correct to sit above the hole and then pushed down by the trigger guard screw...if so I can't do it, I thought about cutting the spring so that ...

This was the post from Pa. Hunter I hunted as a youngster with a 16ga. s/s Savage/Fox Model B that belonged to my grandfather. Long story short all of his guns were to go to me. Well while I was across the pond hunting VC Pap passed on and the guns disappeared. I recently found the very same gun but...

A gentlemen on the 16 ga forum is looking for a replacement stock for his B grade 16ga. I have the original stock that came off my 16ga SW. Will they interchange? His has a crack down the back ( splitting into) and he would like to get it back into the Field.

Finished restocking my Fox Sterlingworth
I reassembled my Fox 16 GA today. The stock work is done other than the checkering, which will be done this winter after bird season closes. I had a couple of heart stoppers while putting it back together. The first was, I couldn't get the right bbl to fire, I took it apart but couldn't see anything...

DGKaas, the original stock was almost 3 inches drop at the heal, I now have 1 3/8 drop. When I put it together and bring it up I am looking at the top of the bbls, before I had to block out the birds completely and that is not a good way to be consistent. Time will tell, a couple of more weeks and I...

Black walnut, I fell in love with it first time I saw it. This is what I started with... http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e310/grousehunte...
