I received the spring yesterday and today I took the Fox apart. I removed the trigger guard and set the spring into the hole. My question is, is the spring correct to sit above the hole and then pushed down by the trigger guard screw...if so I can't do it, I thought about cutting the spring so that ...

A gentlemen on the 16 ga forum is looking for a replacement stock for his B grade 16ga. I have the original stock that came off my 16ga SW. Will they interchange? His has a crack down the back ( splitting into) and he would like to get it back into the Field.

Sorry, I just wasn't sure just what they are called. I am referring to the raised portion of the stock just behind the action on the sides of the stock.

Knothole, yes I do have a large hand and I wanted to open that area up a little. Its 3/8s longer then the orignal stock, and its 1 1/2 inches longer over all. Time will tell if I did good or made a mistake.
