I figured it out, the triggers locking up were unrelated to the barrels at all, I put everthing back together without the stock and the triggers and saftey functioned perfectly. I had to releve the stock a little to allow the saftey to move and everything is up and running. Thanks for all the sugges...

I do have the spring and the plug. the Barrel will not lock beyond the picutre with or with out the spring. In pics, you can see that the locking lever is stopping a few degrees short of centered. I recently had to take the stock off my shotgun because the pin holding the safety assembly disappeared. Upon replacing the pin and reassembling the gun the barrels are not locking correctly.
