I think the "C" grade engraving is the most tasteful of the Fox engraving.

Fox doubling

Recently acquired a "A" grade fox 12 gauge serial number 20830. Really like the gun but during dove hunt discharged the left barrel first and both barrels fired. At that point I loaded just the left barrel and fired the gun and the right hammer dropped every time. Fired the right barrel fi...

Lubrication of fox

I recently purchased a 'A" grade which needed a good cleaning. I have the stock off and before reassembling are there any areas that require special attention as far as lubrication goes?

I remember back in 93 thinking my newly acquired Fox Sterlingworth was a quail killer. Now my newly acquired 'A' grade is a dove killer. I suppose Foxe's are just good guns.
