Re: Sterlingworth 20GA
I believe the issue around the serial number and manufacture dates discrepancies is due to frames being made up in bulk and setting in parts bins waiting to be produced into finished shipped guns.

Re: Dakota on the horizon
John,
I pulled out the 3 of November and left in such a hurry I forgot my winter bag. I had to stop by on Dec 1st and had knee deep snow at my place. I know about getting soft, a dusting of snow covering muddy roads in the owhee's and I am surfing the web rather than driving on grease.

Not all at once for sure. I just use the setters for tree rows and small patches. The lab gets the bigger thickets and we stay out of the uncut corn.

Re: Dakota on the horizon
Thanks Jim, it looks like it might be good to holds off a week or so to head to the Dakotas. Blizzards coming!. No I have never lead a group like that. For me it is hard to hunt and photograph at the same time. They each seem to require undimmed attention for at least part of the day. I guess you co...

Re: Fox Sterlingworth Heavy barrels (HE weight)
The Sterlingworth Wildfowl Grade is essentially the HE-Grade Super-Fox metal finished up in Sterlingworth finish. There appears to be two batches of Sterlingworth Wildfowl Grades. Maybe forty or so in the 1341xx serial number range. The ten that I have observed run from 134102 to 134130. Guns obser...

Fox 16 ga XE, 28” or longer, straight stock would be nice but I am getting less picky. 16 ga B grade would be nice too.

I agree Guns come and go but the dogs steal a piece of our heart.SXS ohio wrote:That is one nice painting!.....things dreams are made of.
