My Sterlingworth is S/N 53893 and it lacks the Model 1911 on the forend, or anywhere else.

I have a 1910 Sterlingworth with a similar stock separation. Is there a way to properly repair it (no corrective repairs yet - still have both pieces), or is it better to restock?
