:D Hi all, well I took the 12ga Fox DE (the "questionable" DE that has had a couple threads on this forum) that I bought earlier this year out for an afternoon hunt. Thanks to my good GSP and my DE Fox, I was able to get a limit of roosters. She sure is a good handling gun and a "stra...
Hi, the gun came from a private seller, not a dealer. Very good guy BTW. I'm also buying a 16ga CE from him. No card or letter yet, will have to see if there is a card on this one.
:) Hello all, well my "new" BE Grade that I just bought got here and had to post about her. The gun has 30" bbls that are choked IM/Full (.027/.035), weighs in at 6lbs 13oz on the dot. The stock has been refinished and has a Hawkins pad on it and the bbls have been reblackened. So the...
:) Hi all, well just received my first Newsletter as a member and I must say I was very impressed. Well printed and well written articles. Glad I became a member!! :) Hi all, what's your opinion of this DE? It's a 12ga, circa 1923, 28"bbls, M/F, 7lbs even. The guns been restocked of course Any comments would be appreciated Thanks so much! Greg http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/vv299/gjw_photo/fox.jpg http://i693.photobucket.com/albums/vv299/gjw_photo/fox...
Hi all, as you may know I'm new to Fox guns (and American classics in general). Anyway, are modern 2 3/4" (standard 3 or 3 1/4 dram) loads safe for a gun made circa 1923/24? The bbls are sound.
Hi all, I was wondering what your thoughts are on the DE grade guns made by Savage (cira 1930's) vs. guns made in Philly? Is one better than the other or just what are the pros and cons of each?
