ejectors

how do you know if you have the "new" style ejectors? I have a 1910 AE, and on the forearm iron it has the 1904 and 1909 patent dates. The way I understand it some older guns were refitted with the "new" ejector system

Usually if a gun has the newer style ejectors it will also have the May 2, 1911 Patent date.
