Hi all, well just received my first Newsletter as a member and I must say I was very impressed. Well printed and well written articles. Glad I became a member!!
Anyway, the article on the DE was most enlighting and got me thinking about how many D/DE grade were made both in Philly and Utica.
So, does anyone have the amounts made by gauge? Not looking for different styles, just the quantities.
Thanks and Happy Easter to all!
Greg

The numbers of D-/DE-Grades in 16- and 20-gauge are published in McIntosh's book. The number of 12-gauges in the earlier D-/DE-Grade styles is unknowable because only a handful of graded 12-gauge production cards suvive below serial number 9600. The same reasoning holds for A-/AE-, B-/BE-, C-/CE- and F-/FE-grades as well.
