Wow! Sounds like quite a closet queen and perhaps very valuable. I didn’t know that any of the 20 ga. Super Foxes had 3” chambers. Have you considered ordering a card to verify the authenticity of this desirable heirloom?

This one auctioned for $32K this year, I would think a straight grip stock would make it more desirable. I'd highly recommend putting it in Josh Loewensteine's hands.

As Jeff said, not sure about 3 inch chambers on the HE20. Beavertail fore end doesn't sound like factory.

Yes, by all means, get a copy of the factory card for that gun.

"Stamped 3 in chambers" doesn't sound right for a 20g HE. frank

On the 3in. chambers, I added the word chambers to clarify it . Only 3in. IS STAMPED.

From my search of the production cards, I found three HE-Grade 20-gauges ordered with 3-inch chambers, 202172 a 32-incher and 203688 & 203975 both 30-inch.

Dave, did any of them have a straight grip our beavertail forearm?

I've recorded five straight grips, all late guns. One on a 28-inch gun marked TRAP HE in the Grade space and choked Skeet Cylinder and 1/4 choke, so a heavy 20-gauge skeet gun. The other four straight grips are on 30-inch HEs. Another 28-inch skeet choked HE is listed with a "semi-beavertail" forearm but grip style not listed. There are another four cards that don't list the grip style. When the grip style is not listed on the card, we presume it is the "standard" half-pistol grip.
