Nash's .410 Merkel

I recently saw an old b & w photo of some of Nash Buckingham's guns that included what was said to be his .410 Merkel. I have the complete set of Derrydale Press books written by Nash and have read them all, but it was 13+ years ago. Would anyone have references to which of the books mention and picture this Merkel?

Most people who know me and my shooting habits know that I enjoy big, waterfowling doubles and also little, long barreled .410 S X Ss. I've often thought that to be a strange combination of enjoyable pursuits, but now I realize that Mistah Nash was also of the same persuasion. That really interests me and I'd like to reread any references to this in his books, or other avenues.

Thanks in advance and Merry CHRISTmas!

I have always assumed that the Merkel belonged to one of Nash's high dollar hunting buddies, not Nash.
