Earlier in life I had been an active upland hunter, but then life happened as it does. Was fortunate this Fall to have been invited out by some friends who are avid upland hunters as I now have more free time. I took full advantage of days offered to go out and went a little overboard with my time afield to make up for lost years. Having bought some new duds I was pleased to have found my worn Filson hat to somewhat shed the total look of a novice.
The season started with my usual Stevens 16ga 5100 frame SxS, which led to the permeant decision that I’m an uplander again. I experienced such joy in the fields and woods early season that I decided to upgrade my wand choice and found a nice mid 20’s Sterlingworth 16ga. I’ve been hunting early-mid season till now with the lovely Sterly in several NE states. What an enjoyable shotgun to tote around sleek, slender, sexy.
Just recently cheated on the 16 ( shhhhh) and acquired the seductress, a mid 20’s 20ga Sterlingworth as one logically would. Anyways , a few pictures from afield and hunting through the woods this 2024/25.
